Louise is a teaching conceptual artist - favouring communication over perceived beauty or artistry. With a background firmly planted in painting, drawing and mixed media, her practice is inspired by storytelling capabilities of sculpture and textiles. Her current major project considers community-identified gaps in peoples' individual responses to disclosures of sexual harm and how these collectively contribute to either survivor healing or further harm.
Louise has taught visual arts and art workshops for over 20 years and has exhibited in solo and group shows.
