Before retiring in mid-2021, Margaret enjoyed attending occasional art courses and dabbling in drawing and painting. Since retirement, she has found the time to become more involved in a variety of art forms and most recently, has found a passion for acrylic paint pouring. “Paint pouring produces an unpredictable and often fascinating outcome - sometimes you create a work of beauty and at times, it can be disappointing. Quite apart from the pouring and manipulating of the work, much depends on the paints, how they are prepared and how they interact with each other,” she says. Margaret divides her time between Sydney and Currarong.
